Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.86%

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.86% to hit a new 3-months high.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 7.22% or 552 points to trade at 8200 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 6.58% or 22.9 points to end at 370.9 and Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:RBREW) was up 4.71% or 25 points to 556 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were DSV (CSE:DSV), which fell 0.47% or 3.6 points to trade at 768.4 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) declined 0.09% or 1.0 points to end at 1058.5 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 223.5.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 82 to 51 and 14 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.04% or 0.40 to $37.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.59% or 0.24 to hit $40.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.95 to trade at $1733.55 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.6410, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4558.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 97.205.
